The court cards of each suit represent personality types or situation types. These are often the trickiest cards to interpret due to their dual nature of meaning.
Each court card embodies the qualities of their position and their suit.

Kings

The Kings represent the masculine aspect of mature adults such as control, provision, and leadership. The suit will determine the personality traits of the individual. For example, The King of Swords could represent an individual who is viewed as in control of their ideas and thoughts and is fair and logical in their judgments. In terms of situations, it could represent the leadership in implementing the idea provided by The Page. For example, the King of Swords could be the project manager at a construction company.

Queens

The Queens represent the feminine aspect of mature adults, such as nurture and development. The suit will determine the personality traits of the individual. For example, the Queen of Wands could represent a person who has learned to master social situations and relishes teaching and developing others in this area. In terms of situations, it could represent an event that involves the need to learn from someone experienced. For example, The Queen of Wands could represent someone looking to learn a musical instrument finding a skilled teacher.

Knights

The Knights represent adults in their prime, or someone with a level or maturity usually associated with this age group. The suit will determine the personality traits of the individual. For example, the Knight of Cups could represent a person who has gained experience in dealing with their emotions and how to manage them. In terms of situations, it could represent taking action in relation to obtaining emotional stability, like asking that person out on a date!

Pages

The Pages represent young people, or the energy associated with a young person. The suit will determine the personality traits of the individual. For example, the Page of Pentacles could represent a young person who is starting to save for the first time. In terms of situations, it could represent a message or idea coming into your life. For example, the Page of Pentacles could represent the opportunity of a new job received from word of mouth of a friend.
